Miscellaneous....shipping, faq, etcetera......

shipping

my personal favourite way to ship is the good ol' post office, but this isn't carved in stone....particularly on large or heavy items, UPS or FedEx is a better deal, and I will always put your best interests first....the best, cheapest, safest deal available to get the merchandise to you in good condition....you, the purchaser, will be responsible for all shipping charges and insurance...these costs will be computed after the sale....as always, if you like, you can come to Danville and collect your purchase in person....also, I encourage everyone to come and see the items before you buy, provided this is feasible for you.....all you have to do is call or write for an appointment....

At this time, I will not ship to any are outside the contiguous 48 states...that may change in the future.

faq

q: why don't you just open a real store?

a: if you've ever looked at the cost of starting up a business, let alone the cost of buying or renting a retail space, then I would think the answer to that would be obvious....doing business on the internet has distinct advantages over a "real" store...besides, there's no shortage of parking here!

q: why don't you just sell your stuff on eBay?

a: i don't really like eBay much, and as time has passed, they've gotten even worse in my opinion...they really charge a lot for their services, and they don't treat people very well....

q: how do i know i'll get a fair deal from you?

a: as with most things in life, there's always an element of faith and trust involved.....in business, this is the most sacred aspect of a relationship with a customer....simply put, if I am not trustworthy and honest in my dealings, then I'm not going to be doing this for very long, and I want to do this for a long time....
